Copy and Paste Backlink Plugin
So you’ve discovered that the article which took you forever to write, edit and post has simply been copied by someone and plastered on their blog as their very own… that sucks. It does happen, more than you may know. Unsuspecting bloggers and article writers who create great pieces of literary art lose quite a bit when someone copies their work.
Not only is this seen as plagiarism (if there is no reference back to the originating author) but you could lose quality traffic when the content copier’s (thief) version of your work is listed higher in the search engines. This happens frequently and is one of the reasons I don’t post my articles on article sites any longer.
Now, I still write guest posts (and we should all be writing those) and will always send out press releases and make videos. But when it comes to my own site and my own work I tend to ensure that I get full credit for it should anyone try to do the old “copy and paste” routine.
So, I have developed a WordPress plugin to thwart any link-juice lost when someone copies your work.
The BailHound Backlink Plugin
The plugin is designed to simply apply your website link from where the article or blog post was copied from. No matter where the person is trying to paste the copied work (notepad, WordPress, Joomla, Article Site, Powerpoint, Word etc.) your link will show up.
In the example image below, you’ll see I copied the first paragraph from one of my earlier posts. Highlighted is the link information that goes with the post.
Simply download the plugin, open your WordPress dashboard and install, then activate. Nothing else has to be done. You’re instantly protected!
So, if you’re ready to start protecting your work and getting the credit you so rightly deserve, the download button is directly below. Now then, download and use of my little plugin tells me you are aware that this is a freebie and given “AS IS”, and that if you screw it up… well… here is the disclaimer just in case:
